Angled surface measurement inside the monopile: A sensor mounted on a rod was placed through the monopile wall to capture stress on an internal surface under an angle.
Direct wall surface measurement: Another sensor was positioned to measure total stress directly at the inner wall surface of the monopile.
In both cases, the sensors were mounted externally on the monopile, with the measuring face flush against the internal surface to ensure accurate and representative readings.
